Exam Notice To All Private Candidates

All morning exams start at 9.00am and afternoon exams start at 1.00pm.

Invigilators must be satisfied about the identity of every candidate attending each examination.  The Head of Centre must ensure that arrangements are in place to enable invigilators to carry out thorough identity checks. Private candidates who are not known to Alpha Tutorials staff must present documentary evidence of their identity (e.g., an ID photo-card or a passport) before entering the examination room, and this should be checked each time the candidate attends an examination to ensure that they are the same person who was entered for the examination.

Please note:- We only register students for exams in person.  The candidate has to be present at our centre with a parent or a guardian if they are under 18 years old.  Each prospective candidate must produce a photographic ID i.e. a passport or a Driving License.  An exam entry form must be completed and signed by the candidate. The full fee must paid before any exam registration can take place. Candidates will also have to bring in a recent passport size photograph.  We do not have any other third party involved in our exam registration process.

We regret that we are not taking on Private Candidates for the November 2023 exams as we have our Internal students who have signed up for revision and exams.

A Little Help From You Goes A Long Way For Them

One of our missions is to support the children in our local communities who have arrived from war torn countries and are relying on local support to change their lives for the better. Children such as those from Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Ukraine deserve to be supported in their education and we want to be able to do that.

You can donate money or pay the tuition fees for them to study at Alpha Tutorials for one academic year. One year’s sponsorship for a child is around £600 for them to study the core curriculum, once a week for 2 hours in the evening. Not only changing their lives, but their families too.

My daughter wanted to express her thanks for all of the support with booking her in with her English Exam. She felt reassured and at ease within the exam centre which helped manage her stress. Thank you team Alpha!

I got into Hull York Medical School on a standard 5 year course thanks to the support of everyone at Alpha. I can not believe that one day I will be able to serve the community as their Doctor. Thank you for giving the Somali community member a chance in life.
Suweyda
I may have disappointed you at the time with my attitude, however as I matured and grew at Alpha Tutorials I realised my own selfishness and important of my GCSE Maths & English in this country. I can only apologise for my attitude and I'm thankful for all the support Alpha had given despite all the odds.
Riddhi
Thank You very much for giving me the opportunity of studying for my A-Level revision classes and allowing me to sit the external exams. I came to Alpha with no hope, but I have just been accepted to study Computer Science course at Leicester University. I cannot believe how I was able achieve such high grades. Thank You for patience and understanding.
