Tuition Enrolment!

Classes for 2026-2027

There are a variety of classes available this year for all age groups including specialised classes if you need assistance in one particular subject.

Primary/Secondary

For Primary, we take students from Year 3 to Year 6. They will rotate between Maths and English.

For Secondary, we take students from Year 7 to Year 11. They will rotate between Maths, English and Science.

For the options above (rotation), you may pick one of the following sessions and attend weekly.

Monday (6-8pm)

Wednesday – (6-8pm)

Friday (6-8pm)

Saturday – (9-11am)

Designated GCSE Classes

We understand some students may be struggling in one subject more than another hence we have a selection of designated GCSE classes. These are open to GCSE students, re-takers or adults.

GCSE Foundation Maths -> Tuesday (6pm-8pm)

GCSE Higher Maths -> Saturday (11am-1:30pm)

GCSE English Language -> Saturday (11:15am-1:15pm)

iGCSE English (Edexcel Specification B) -> Saturday (9am-12pm)

GCSE Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) – TBC

A-Level Classes

For A-Level students, we have designated subject classes. Re-sitters are welcome.

Biology/Chemistry

The sessions are split into two 1-hour blocks – 1 hour AS, 1 hour A2. You may day one hour of each subject or do the full 2 hours for one.

This session will run on Tuesday (6-8pm) – NOT STARTED YET

Maths (Workshop)

Due to students being at different levels, we changed the way we run this session – we host A-level Maths on a ‘1-2-many’ basis.

Students bring their own work and the teacher will rotate between them all for the full 2 hours. Whilst waiting, the student may answer questions/past papers on said topic and if you are struggling, the teacher will once again return to assist.

This session currently runs on Tuesday (6-8pm) and Friday (6-8pm).

I felt really comfortable sitting exams at Alpha Tutorials. I would not have been able to sit for GCSE's had I been at School due to my anxiety levels and the large sports hall will over 200 students. I was able to perform really well and I would personally like to thank the entire Alpha Team for looking after me whilst I was doing my GCSE exams.

I was not sure how Alpha was going to be able to help me after spending 2 years at a local Sixth Form College procrastinating and not achieving the grades I needed to go to a good University. After joining, I realised that how easy my life became. My predicted grades were in place by my tutors, my UCAS reference was written, and infact I am currently studying Software Engineering at Leicester University. This would not have been possible 2 years ago.

I really wish I had not listened to my daughter and removed her from Alpha Tutorials. She always said that she found things too easy and would prove that she could attain her grades. She was not able to secure any of the A-levels she wanted to do and now her friends have moved onto Universities. Cannot turn the clock back! Wasted a year and opportunity.

There is one person at Alpha who did not give up on me. This was now my 4th attempt at passing GCSE Maths and English. I was mis-guided at School by my friends and only wanted to break into professional Football. I took a year out and wasted the whole year. I restarted College with no qualifications and with Entry level type of courses. However, what I needed to progress was GCSE Maths and GCSE English. The two tutors at Alpha Tutorials never gave up on me - even though I was still a laid back chap. Today, I am on the verge of going to University. Thank You Alpha!

I achieve my grade 5 in Maths and now I am on the degree course at DMU rather than a Foundation Course. I would personally like to thank one maths tutor who pushed me to achieve a place on Finanical Accounting Degree rather then spend a whole year on the Foundation course that would have been more expensive to add on an extra year to my student loan.

I would personally like to thank one person in particular at Alpha Tutorials. Without his help, I would have never see my son at a Further Education College. This person took on my son when I found myself in a very difficult situation and pennyless. I was homeless due to family Issues and benefit dependent living in a refuge with my 15 year old son in a single room. My son had to give up his school in Year 11 to be with me in Leicester. Today my son is doing a Level 3 T-Level course in IT. I cannot believe that these kind of people exist in todays cruel world. It restored my faith in humanity and now my son will also fulfil his wish of becomng a Haafees.

Two years ago, I came from Zimbabwe with no qualifications. My parents were in Scotland on Care Home work permit. I was alone in Leicester at the age of 18. I was given the opportunity to learn and sit a few GCSE's at Alpha Tutorials (free of charge) including Maths and English. This enabled me to go on to the Catering Course at Leicester College. Today I am off to Spain to take part in the World Skills Championship as a Chef to represent all the African youths like myself. I personally went to Alpha to thank that one Person at Alpha who allowed this to happen. Watch out for the first African Restaurant in the St Martins Square.

Without even stepping into Alpha Tutorials, people will write negative views and podcasts. This is the way of the world - BUT If it had not been for Alpha, I would not be writing this today. So, I would say to all the Alpha Tutors, "Thank You" for giving me the time and listening to me when I was down. Yes, I am only a Handyman today - but I rose from emptying your dustbins and spending time locked up at an Institution before I had the courage to walk into Alpha Tutorials.
